DR LUKE ROBERTS, FOUNDER & CEO
PhD, M.B.A., MEd.
I’ve spent over two decades helping people navigate conflict, build trust, and transform systems — from school corridors to boardrooms to prison wings.
My academic background combines a PhD from Cambridge University (where I explored how organisations behave as complex adaptive systems) with Masters degrees in Educational Research and Business Administration. Alongside this, I’ve trained in law and practised extensively in mediation, restorative practice, and systems design.
What drives me is applying theory to real-world change. I’ve developed the PeaceSight and SystemsSight tools to support organisations in not just resolving conflict or managing change — but truly understanding the systems that create those challenges in the first place.
I’ve worked with Kate for over 12 years developing InsightBox. Together, we’ve blended psychology, systems thinking, and data tools into practical, user-friendly platforms that help people understand themselves and each other — and make their environments better for everyone.
KATE THEIS, CO-FOUNDER & CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

I’ve worked in product and strategy for over 20 years, always within the technology sector.
For the past 12 years, my focus has been on building the InsightBox suite of products; combining AI, scientific assessments, and systems thinking to create tools that help people and teams truly understand themselves and thrive.
What excites me about this work is seeing how powerful insight can be when it’s turned into something practical and human. Our tools help people build confidence, discover who they are, and see what they’re capable of. That might be a young person realising their potential, a team finding new ways to excel, or a leader making decisions with a clearer view of the system around them.
As COO, I focus on turning strategy into action, shaping delivery, building strong partnerships, and making sure our operations run smoothly so the technology can deliver maximum impact. My role is about ensuring that what we create is not only innovative but also usable, ethical, and effective in the real world. For me, technology should always stay human and supportive, designed to give people the tools they need to grow and connect.
GRANT THEIS, CHIEF PRODUCT OFFICER
BSC Commerce & Finance
Grant has over 30 years of international experience in marketing, business development, and product management. He has worked across internet platforms, telecoms, broadcasting, and GSM, building new business units and ventures that have delivered lasting value for clients and organisations.
What really drives him is the challenge of taking an idea from concept to reality. Over the years, he has helped launch nine internet businesses and platforms, played a role in one of the world’s first mobile television services, and been part of pioneering joint ventures that expanded networks and created new digital services across multiple markets.
At InsightBox, Grant brings this same entrepreneurial and product expertise to creating the platform and environment for our scientific assessments. His focus is on using the latest secure, tech capabilities to help people and teams better understand themselves, build stronger profiles, and unlock their potential. Alongside this, he has a strong track record in building brands and scaling products that make innovation both accessible and impactful.
With a career built on curiosity, creativity, and a practical approach to problem-solving, Grant combines vision and technical know-how to ensure InsightBox continues to deliver tools that are both cutting-edge and human.
DR HERMAN ROYTHORNE-JACOBS, HEAD OF SCIENTIFIC ASSESSMENTS

Herman Roythorne-Jacobs (PhD) is an experienced industrial psychologist who consults for major organisations on strategic human resource and career management, strategic people capability modelling and development planning, design and implementation of job and competency architecture, competency-based assessment modelling, and HR data analytics.
Herman has extensive experience in the field of psychometric design, interpretation and translation of psychometric and workplace assessment outcomes into insights to inform organisational strategic workforce capability planning and individual career path modelling.
Herman has a passion towards person-career path alignment and was involved in various coaching and mentoring related activities across levels of accountability and across industries. In this context, his thesis entitled ‘Development of an integrated career anchor preferences, career interests and abilities measure for career path congruence’ with a focus on person-organisation congruence earned him a PhD from the University of South Africa.
He is co-author of Career Counselling and guidance in the Workplace: A Manual for Career Practitioners, of the chapter on job analysis and criterion development in Personnel Psychology: An Applied Perspective, and contributor to the chapter on leadership in Psychology in the Work Context.
IDA DOYER, HEAD OF SENSORY SCIENCE

Ida is a passionate and dedicated Sensory Integration Specialist. She has worked in the field of Sensory Neuroscience for over 25 years, and has seen remarkable results in her work with individuals, corporate teams, students, and organizations. Sensory Science powerfully transforms holistic wellbeing, as well as performance and productivity.
Ida is first and foremost authentic and compassionate, and excellent at establishing client needs. Through the use of sensory science emotions are regulated, learning is unlocked, behaviour patterns are enhanced, and performance is optimized. A true and lasting gift.
Ida is brilliant at gently guiding clients to connect with the science behind their senses, as well as their own sensory systems. Ida explains the unknown concept of sensory science in practical, easy-to-implement terms, and facilitates memorable, multi-sensory, and action-based sensory workshops.
Ida is a registered Sensory Integration Occupational Therapist (University of the Free State) and holds a Masters of Philosophy Degree in Industrial Psychology (University of Stellenbosch). Ida has developed a Sensory Workstyle Assessment Profile (SWAP™) as well as a Sensory Student Style (SSSucceed™) measurement tool for workplace employees and students aged 13 and older. Ida’s energy and passion for the Science behind the Senses are contagious and life-changing!
